Does Vedder hold money?

No. If you bet money, you pay each other directly, the way you usually do, and mark it as paid in the app. We're never part of the payment itself.

Can Vedder make sure I get what I was promised?

No. Vedder keeps track of the deal, but isn't a party to it and can't collect anything. Reliability in the app shows who usually settles up.

How do I report something?

Open the bet or group bet, tap the menu in the top right corner and choose “Report”. Pick a reason and feel free to write a bit about what it's about. The report goes to us, not to the person you're reporting.

How do I block someone?

Go to their profile under Friends, tap the menu and choose “Block”. They then can't send you friend requests, invite you or find you in search, and they won't be told. You'll find everyone you've blocked under Profile, Account, Blocked.

How do I delete my account?

Go to Profile and tap Delete account at the bottom, under Account. If you signed in with Apple, the app asks you to confirm with Apple at the end. Ongoing bets are called off, and the others are told. Settled bets stay with your friends, with “Deleted user” instead of your name. Read more in the privacy policy.

The link opens the website instead of the app

Some apps, like Snapchat and Messenger, open links in their own browser. Tap “Got the app? Open in Vedder” on the page, or open the link in Safari.
